All roads cleared for IPL, set to start from 19th September

Finally after all the speculations and rumors going around IPL for last 2-3 months, seems to have ended. A senior BCCI official told PTI anonymously that the IPL would start from September 19th and final would be played on November 8th. 51 days of full cricket for all the cricket lovers around the globe.
Although the IPL governing council will held a meeting in the coming week as to finalize the schedule and to work on the minute details.



UAE will be hosting this year's IPL. Due to Covid-19, it was delayed from March and now when the ICC has decided not to organize World T-20, IPL got its roads cleared.
 


Teams will have to reach UAE a month before the first game, as to maintain safety and also to train, as most of the players who will be playing haven't played anything since the lockdown. After the IPL, the Indian team is set to play against Australia in Australia. However they have to be in quarantine for 14 days mandatory, as per the Australian Government rules. It will be a 4 Test match series, starting from December 3. The first match will be played in Brisbane.
