Underrated Bollywood Horror Movies you must watch !

Horror has been a genre which has always excited us.

Whether it is discussing ghost stories at midnight with our friends our cousins or watching a horror movie and later, feeling frightened to even go to bathroom alone . "We all have been there, done that".

There is something in horror movies which makes us seated throughout, even if it includes hiding under the blanket or covering our face whenever such scenes arrive. However, in the recent past Bollywood has produced horror movies which are no less than cringe.


However there are a no of movies which will thrill you with horror. Many of us including me regretted of not watching "Tumbbad" in theaters, one of India's best horror movies ever made. Below are list of some Bollywood movies which surely deserves your attention. These movies are bound to make you feel shit scared and you might have some sleepless nights. :D Enjoy !!!

1) ? -   Yes, you read it right, just a question mark, that's the name of the film. ?:A question mark is a 2012 Hindi horror film written and directed by Allyson Patel & Yash Dave.  The film was really appreciated in International Film festival held in France and it also won two awards there. The plot of the movie revolves around a  group of college friends who decided to go to a place to shoot their final year project film.  However, they NEVER came back. All that was found was a camera which had several recordings. The movie is a compilation of those clippings.



2) The final Exit - A 2017 supernatural horror film starring Kunal Roy Kapoor, Archana Shastry, Elena Kazan, Reyhna Malhotra, and Scarlett Wilson. The movie will make you feel hallucinated with its concept. The story is of a guy who begins to hallucinate and is lost between reality and dream. He starts seeing things which are not real, but what makes the matter worse for him, is when he wants to shoot those with his camera .


3) Pizza 3d - An officail remake of the 2012 Telegu film named "Pizza". The story is of a guy named Kunal Malkholkar (Akshay Oberoi) who lives with his wife Nikita(Parvathy Omankuttan). He works as a pizza delivery boy, and is someone who don't believe in supernatural powers, however his wife, who is an aspiring novelist constantly tells him to be aware of spirits and the paranormal world. His world goes upside down, when he goes to deliver a pizza to a family.It's the climax of the movie which will make your jaw drop.
4) Raat - This list would have been empty without a Ram Gopal Verna film. This 1992 cult classic movie is still considered one of the best horror movies of India. Beauty of the film is that it is a great combo of horror and suspense.



5) Kaun - Another Ram Gopal Verma's film, written by Anurag Kahsyap starring Urmila Matondkar, Manoj Bajpayee, and Sushant Singh. It is a psychological suspense thriller film which will make you hooked on your seats throughout the movie. The plot is Urmila is watching news on the T.V about a serial killer, when suddenly a door bell rings, she is a little bit reluctant in opening the door, Can't reveal more !! you will be thrilled to watch the psycho killer

"Human Computer" Shakuntala Devi film review A movie worth watching !!! The movie released yesterday on Amazon prime. Vidya Balan who played Shakuntala Devi certainly stole the show. Due to Covid-19, watching movies are becoming a new normal,Yesterday a film called Shakuntala Devi was released on the OTT platform Amazon prime . It is a biographical comedy-drama film filmed on the life of Shakuntala Devi who is also known as " human computer" . She was also listed in the Guinness Book of World Records in 1982.   The film starts with Shakuntala's daughter Anupama Banerji played by Sanya Malhotra filing a criminal case against her mother.
